Design and Landscaping a Garden with a Pergola in Galway

This garden was a bland space with little interest but had the advantage of being a suntrap. The brief was to maximize its potential in terms of outdoor living.

A patio was constructed which runs at a 45 degree angle from the sliding doors. This diverts your view away from the back wall. Raised beds were constructed to compliment the shape of the patio and a Pergola constructed to act as both a focal point and a screen for the oil tank.

A small area of lawn was introduced to green up the area. Lighting was installed throughout the garden.
